Injuries in Palestine Remain Unexplained

The World Health Organization is considering investigating incidents in Gaza that may involved “non-conventional” weapons, according to The Independent. Doctors in Gaza say that people suffered severe burning “down to the bone” and internal injuries without obvious signs of shrapnel. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, it is possible “radiant” substances were used.

The Israeli Defence Forces said that “weapons and ammunition are legal under international law and conform with international standards.” It said it could not respond in more detail until it knew more about the injures.
