Investigation for Kandahar Incident

An investigation into an incident in which British troops may have killed two civilians and wounded five others will be conducted, according to The Guardian. The event took place in Kandahar, after a suicide bombing.

Andy Price, a spokesman for the UK task force in Helmand, said that he can “categorically state that we did not indiscriminately open fire.”  Numerous civilians and security officers have said otherwise though, and an AP also said that he was afraid he would be shot as well.

Abdul Rahim was one of those injured: “The British say they came to bring peace to our country. What kind of peace is this?”
